hello everyone

i need to buy a 2TB internal hard drive for keeping file and download (not for gaming or running windows), but i can't decide between Western Digital Blue and Toshiba P300. WD Blue works at 5400 rpm, but toshiba works on 7200 rpm. i've read Toshiba has more failure rate comparing to WD, but on the other hand toshiba is faster due to it's higher rpm.

what do you think?

Hello rzm_sikorsky :D
Go for the blue. If this info was part of a database than needed to be accessed and updated multiple times daily one wants speed. With only videos and other couch potatoes(such as pictures) on a storage drive 5400, 5900 or 7200 won't make a difference.
