External Laptop GPU Stuff

Hi there, I wanted to upgrade the graphics power of one of my laptops with the most plug and play options available.

This is the GPU dock that i want to use.

The laptops I have dont have an expresscard slot like much older laptops used to, I could just get the miniPCIE version instead but then I would lose quick portability of my laptop.

Since expresscards were replaced the SD card slots in laptops is there a way I can plug the expresscard into my SD card slot for a very plug and play experience?

Please help, your thoughs, experiences and advice would be greatly valued.

No, you can't plug the expresscard connector for an eGPU into a SD card slot.

Won't fit, and even if it did, the bandwidth of the SD card slot is waaaay too small for graphics.

There is no 'Easy Button' for increasing the graphics power of a laptop, especially when the laptop in question does not have the standard ports than a typical eGPU expects.

Thanks for the help, I'm probably going to a make a larger opening underneath my laptop vents so that the cable for the miniPCIE can easily pass through without me having to leaver the underneath open. I'm going to try and figure out if i can solder a shorter miniPCIE cable to the vents from the insider and use and extender cable to fit it in when i need it.
