A few days ago I bought myself an MSi GTX 1050Ti graphics card for my pretty old computer: the motherboard is H61-S1 and the processor is an i3-3240 + 8gb ddr3 ram.
when I plug in the new graphics card and turn on the computer my screen isn't working and the computer is making a weird noise: a long beep followed by two short ones (edit: everything else turns on, including the GPU). I tried updating my BIOS from f4 version to f5 but it didn't help. I have to note that my screen is a 17" HP L1710 that only has VGA and I used an adapter to plug it in. I would really appreciate it if you could help me.
