Is an am4 cpu socket type compatiable with am3+ motherboard socket type?

Hey guys question i'm looking to upgrade in the future. Right now i have an Amd Fx 6300 Cpu six core, it works well but i was looking to upgrade to, a Amd ryzen 5 1600x 6 core processor. That's chipset is am4. Saw on some other forums that people said that yes am4 is compatible with am3+. But i just wanted to double check and get your guy's knowledge on the subject.

No it's not and whatever forum that was, they people are uneducated and don't know what they are talking about. The pins aren't even the same, it won't fit at all.
