will these specs run my games at playable speeds?

I did my first build about a year and a half ago, at first it was great, ran all my games smoothly with ease, one day my pc crashed and said " oc profile failed, restore to default values or enter setup"
i chose to to restore default settings, ever since then my pc stutters really bad in any open world game and is not playable at all. so its time for a new build.

i am going to keep my current graphics card, cpu and power supply. I am going to replace everything else, so my new specs will be...

motherboard :ASRock ATX DDR3 1333 LGA 1150 Motherboards Z97 PRO4

graphics card: EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB SSC GAMING ACX 2.0+

memory: Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB Kit (2x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM
( i have a pair of ballistix sport sticks which are 2x4gb 1600MHz DDR3 as well, so these memory sticks should be fine together since they are the same exact specs right?)

hard drive: Seagate 1TB FireCuda Gaming SSHD (Solid State Hybrid Drive) - 7200 RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Hard Drive

CPU:Intel Core i5-4430 Quad-Core Desktop Processor 3.0 GHz 6 MB Cache LGA 1150

case:Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-01 Mid Tower Gaming Case ( along with some extra fans for cooling)

power supply:XFX TS 550w Full Wired 80+ Bronze Power Supply
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

do you guys think will run games at playable speeds without all that stuttering? i do not need crazy high fps to enjoy a game, i would be happy with anything 40 fps and above as long as there is no constant stuttering. the games i will usually be playing will probably be Ark, Rust, Miscreated, sfv, MK10, Total War atilla/war hammer, smite, cs:go. League of legends, will be the main games I play.

My pc currently cant even run cs:go or even smite without constant stuttering, R.I.P

Okay uhh seeing your old build...

Umm, it shouldn't really... be a problem. Your CPU can't OC so... I'm not sure what could have happened there. A old USED hard drive could definitely be a problem.

I would first off update your BIOS:
https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B85M-GAMING#down-bios

And dont just do the "default" bios but actually look and see that noting is trying to overclock, or possibly is underclocking. (like if your CPU base clock isn't 100mhz, or the multiplier isn't 32x)

Some diagnostic tools:

Can...
1. yes that new build can run those games fine.
2. No, there's not real guarantee those ram kits will work together. You honestly only have a 50/50 chance of them working togerher
3. what are the specs of your old build? are you bringing anything over to the new one?
4. It may be your old build's only problem is a bad PSU, especially if you cheaped out on one.

1.dope!
2.i see, guess im best off buying completely new ram.
3.my old (current) build is using: motherboard-msi b85m gamming//// cpu-Intel Core i5-4430 Quad-Core//// power supply-XFX TS 550w Full Wired 80//// gpu- GTX 960 ssc 2gb ddr5 //// ram-8GB ddr3 1600MHz//// hard drive- uuuhhh, some really old 1 TB hard drive i bought used for 40 bucks 2 years ago @.@

my psu is decent i think, everything worked fine untl one morning i got this crash saying my oc profile has crashed, ever since then my pc would not run games right no matter what i do. the only parts i plan to bring over to the new build is the graphics card and the power supply, i thought i would be able to bring my ram and cpu, but it seems that my cpu socket is outdated (LGA 1150) and my motherboard uses ddr3 ram, and most all the newer pc parts use ddr4 and lga 1151 sockets, so i think i will have to buy a different motherboard and cpu then the ones i listed in the first post. i will update the list once i put together my new build plan.
thanks for the answer.

Can you find out the exact model number of your PSU? There are a few low end XFX units that can be bad.
