Wattman underclocks my card by itself

I am on driver 17.5.2. When i check on wattman it shows my state 7 (max) to be at 650 instead of the stock 1250!

what should i do?

EDIT: The pic shows 1250 on the stat monitor on the left but thats because i set it to 1250mhz when i saw it was at 650mhz but then changed it to back to 650mhz for the purpose of showing on this forum. It happens whenever i boot.

Reset settings to default in Wattman, run a benchmark (or anything to load your GPU), and looks at the core clock speed. If it's still low, I'd do a clean uninstall of your drivers and reinstall them.

I did a clean install of the drivers first and then installed 17.5.2. thats when the issue came about, but i have now gone back to 17.7.2 and its fine now.
