I just bought an HD6970 for a good price to replace my old dead card (HD7850). In the meantime I've been using my very old 9800 GTX+.
Aside from the obvious problems of legacy architecture, no DX12 supports and less overclocking potential, how do the two actually compare in real life?
Can I expect it to perform about as well as my 7850? I have no expectations of running new AAA titles on max settings (Hell, my 7850 couldn't handle Quantum Break at max). Just want to get some kind of baseline comparison. Also, the resolution of both would be 1920x1200.
