Recently I purchased a game called Castle Crashers, seeing as how I used to play it back on console I wanted to use a controller for pc. I installed DM4Windows, InputMapper, as well as paired the controller it self to my pc via Bluetooth. Now, after being able to briefly use my PC (1-5 minutes) both my mouse and headset just stop functioning. Leaving me with only a keyboard. I even went as far as to reset my PC so this can’t happen, and my PC won’t even allow me to reset it... (bad things always happen to me when it comes to technology.

Solution
run a diskcheck. Put in the windows disk, open command prompt, Run "SFC /SCANNOW" and "CHKDSK C: /F"
I have run into this while fixing computers more than 3 times before so worth a shot.
|For some reason, when I came Across computers with this issue, it was due to Microsoft having some issue with the drivers and ends up orphaning a few sys drivers for mouse and keyboard, running the disk scan would usually recover the orphaned files.
