So i made a build with a ryzen 5 1600 and asrock ab350m pro4 motherboard and with a 16gb corsair lpx 3000mhz rams CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 and the damm pc does not even want to boot everytime and getting it passed 2133mhz one can totaly forget it... i used a second set of corsair lpx but only with 3200mhz and those would not go above 2133mhz but booted 99% of the time. I checked the qvl of the motherboard and now going to get the gskill trident z set F4-3200C16D-16GTZB witch is listed there. What ram are you all using ? what speeds did you get? i am on the brinck of returning the motherboard and swapping it for an asus prime b350m-a ....

Ryzen boards are known to very picky about RAM, hence you should always get RAM from the QVL list.
Also make sure, if possible, to upgrade BIOS to latest version as that will often fix some of the RAM issues on Ryzen boards.
As i'm an Intel user myself i cannot really help you with the rest as Intel boards usually take them all, QVL list or not.

The gskill should be fine although you may still only hit 2666 or 2933 max speed.

Have you updated the board BIOS ??
If not you should do.

I would expect that corsair to hit 2666 without issue on a newer bios revision although timings may need to be entered manually.

I'm running crucial ballistix 2400 & have had no-issue hitting 2933 (essentially fairly highly overclocked) but settled on 2666 with lower voltage.

i have the latest bios and this is not my first ryzen build and i used those corsair kits many times and had zero issues... well on asus boards :D never thought i run into a thing like this... o popped the corsair ram i use with my asus crosshair 6 hero and the pc boots after restarts after shutdowns and stuff but if i oc the ram that is it... with those 3000mhz stick it does not boot after you turn it on or whenn it boots and you do a restart it wount boot again... just a black screen...

Like I said, you are having a compatibility issue with your specific RAM and mobo.

Update to the situation. Before i shipped out the ram i tried them today again. First i removed the battery from the motherbord for 5 min. After that it booted fast and fine even with xmp profile of 2933mhz. But now i am getting constantly a bsod with the discriptio "kernel security check failure" any ideas what could it be? It accurs when it only starts to load windows... does not even go to the login screen
