Hi guys! Today I saw that my windows power plan was High Performance and I changed it and my cpu temps fall and cpu started downclocking...Bu what i want to ask is if i will see and performance decrease in gaming. Will I have any fps drop or lagging?

Solution
highly depends, windows tries to keep your power settings and this may cause you to lose a little fps, but some games run in admin mode and that allows them to change your settings to high performance whilst the game runs (only for games that are coded this way). - not all games that run in admin mode will change your powerplan, they have to be programed to do so, and that information is never found in documentation.

Hi thanks for the quick reply ! So should I use balanced or high performance? I don't want to have in game problems but I liked how my rpm and cpu temp decreased after I put balanced. What should I do ?
