so my current system specs:
GPU: rx 460 windforce oc 4gb
CPU: athlon x4 880k
motherboard: Asus A58M-E AMD A58 FCH Chipset, Crossfire Supported
RAM: 8gb DDR3/1866mhz

i have been having no end of problems and the constant fps drops in overwatch which makes it unplayable is finally driven me to the point of wanting another cpu.

i would like some help planing the build in terms of what mobo and ram i would need to get.

also whether this is even a cpu that would benefit me? i have a 75hz monitor so would need it to be a constant 75 fps with no drops! any other solutions or different cpus you could recommend me get. i know how to install them but for ease of access and reliability i would like to take it to the PC repair shop in my village for them to fit it so that will add some money to the cost.

also, does this cpu and mobo give a good upgrade path?

any help would be appreciated thanks.

motherboard: Asus A58M-E AMD A58 FCH Chipset, Crossfire Supported
RAM: 8gb DDR3/1866mhz
CASE: Cooler master elite 310 mid tower gaming case with see-thru side panel

Yes, you can get those parts for around 200 pounds. Here are links-

G4560 and 460 can play Overwatch at 75Hz from what i saw on the internet.

HOWEVER if you want a better combo, you could go with the RAM i linked before and the new Ryzen 1200 and A320 motherboard. Keep in mind you will not be able to manually overclock with it as the A320 board does not support overclocking. If you want to overclock manually tell me i'll link you another board.

Here is the link to a benchmarks video I found- https://www.google.co.in/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwiB6NSwrobXAhVL6Y8KHUvRCzoQtwIIJjAA&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DK992qUmVqFE&usg=AOvVaw23wZMDAOdwBam8-Q98oOb_

AM4 (this socket) has a good upgrade path as with this socket you can use any New AMD cpus and also future AMD processors.

But keep in mind this specific Mobo (and the ones with A320 in their name) do not let you manually overclock. For that you'll need to pay about 20 pounds more.

If you wanna push your hardware above the saftey line to eek out more performance at the slight risk of part failure.

So, not if it's your only PC and you don't wanna burn it :)

Whatever fits you budget :)

Also, if you buy a better graphics card in the future, the 1300x will likely get better performance out of it.

It also sometimes auto over clocks to give more performance if needed.

get a b350 mobo so you can tweak the RAM frequency. most MoBos will recognize your RAM at low 2000s and youll wanna push it to high 2000s or low 3000s to get the most out of a ryzen build. Im running a Ryzen 5 1400, and without a b350 mobo i dont think i would have been able to OC my RAm to 3000.

If it's your first time yes, don't take chances if you don't know. I first tried to overclock my RAM and my PC when into a infinite boot loop. Took ages to sort it out. Finally decided against it.

ALSO, YOU CAN OVERCLOCK RAM ON A A320 MOBO

Dam i really wish i knew that a few weeks ago. I thought A320s didnt have overclock option in the BIOS/UEFI, but i guess they just dont OC CPUs?

Also, @ OP, OC'ing RAM is SUPER easy these days. Depending on your mobo and what ram you get. most ddr4s are just simple these days. i didnt even need to mess with my voltage. do what your comfortable with, but id honeslty recomend against a ryzen build if your not gonna get your RAM up to speed...

Not really, it's still much better than pentinum.
