I built a PC a few months ago and it was working fine.
I left for one weekend and when I got back I was getting no signal from my GPU.
I have tried 3 HDMI cables, and the monitor works fine when hooking it up to my laptop.
The system is:
CPU- Amd FX 8320 3.5gz
PSU- EVGA 600W 80+ BRONZE
RAM- 8GB ddr3
Motherboard- Gigabyte Am3+ GA-78LMT Micro ATX (No Integrated Graphics)
OS- WIndows 10 Pro

I am depending on my GPU for graphics and I am getting no signal.
I do not have a DVI cable to try, and my monitor only supports HDMI and VGA
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Since you have no on board graphics, checking device manager to see if you card is detected and so on is pointless.
Get a dvi cable to see if it's only issue with hdmi port or the whole card.
Open up the case when you turn the system on and look underneath the gpu to see if the fan on it is spinning.
You can also try taking out your gpu and putting it into another system (a friend's computer for example) to see if there are any issues.

Thank you for the ideas. It was working just fine before, I don't know what would of messed it up. Above I said it has no on-board graphics so I cant check the device manager. The GPU was showing up before.

Yeah. On boot the fans do not run, but it has an auto fan function I think, only when it gets hot. I tried another GPU plug connector and nothing. I could maybe try the other PCI slot. I don't know

Yeah i was afraid of that. I think the fans do spin at the boot very briefly but maybe not. Not all gpus are the same. Any other computer you can plug it into? A friend or family maybe has one that has specs that are sort of within range and you can plug it in?

No. There is no other computer I could put this in. I might be able to borrow a cheap GPU and see if it works.
I did notice when I was using the PC before this problem, certain programs would have random black flashes for a spit second. In gaming this was never a problem, but more when watching videos, or using google chrome. I don't know if it has a defect or something. Or I don't know if power surge messed it up...

I don't think it was a power surge but that could be a possibility. My PSU and Motherboard have surge/voltage protection so it should be fine. The weekend I was gone, it didn't rain or storm at all. Its kind of odd that it just stopped working. I might have a voltmeter. I will check the PSU later if nothing else works

That's exactly what surge protection on your psu is, like a circuit breaker except it perma burns out. So if it did surge, then your psu may have crapped out. Are you getting any noise when you press the power button? Fans turning on, you hear some noises?

Yeah the whole system works just fine. Everything boots and all fans start running. I am just not getting HDMI signal, from my GPU I think
