Hello. Building my first gaming PC. I'm pretty much settled on everything. Here is my list https://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/lilayZee/saved/PNgtJx
I was going to get a EVGA P2 850W but then I decided I'd want to get a 1000W just for a bit of over kill but I can't seem to find a P2 1000W anywhere. Would getting the 1200W be way to much overkill or should I still be okay with it, or should I just stick with the 850W.
Thanks!

Not to disagree with above, but why not use the Corsair RMx 1000watt seem cheaper and very good quality.

for some price comparison.Used the Titanium Prime here since the Gold doesn't seem to be available according to pcpartpicker, doesn't mean it isn't there.Put the 850watt RMx in there as well.
Just to keep some money in the pocket,or spend it on something else, and still have good quality.

Cool. Thanks everyone for the tips. I will go for a 850W unit for sure. Why do you guys recommend the prime over the P2 series? I've read about both of them and it kind of seems split down the middle but no one has given any reasons. Does the prime series have any advantages over the EVGA P2?

Seasonic Prime is the best you can get currently.

Between the 2 go with the OEM, Seasonic makes PSU's.
