Hello guys, i just wanna ask this because i am still confused.. right now i am thinking of upgrading my pc

Specs right now :
i7 4790
MSI Z97 Gaming 3
GTX 1070
16GB DDR3
Corsair RM750i

I play games and i also streams my games on twitch.. So which is better?? I have a friend who is using Ryzen 7 1700 and he plays PUBG and streaming at the same time but since PUBG last updated about the game can use more than 6 cores, he only gets 30fps when he is playing and streaming at the same time..

I just wanna upgrade my CPU, MOBO and RAM btw..

If you guys can help me decide, that will be great..

I plays a lot of PUBG and Destiny2 is just around the corner.. Please do help me.. Thank you in advance..

I would go 8700K if you have the budget for it as it will perform better. However going with the Ryzen is bit cheaper. But before you upgrade, do you have any issues with your current system? I mean, if your CPU is the 4790K (With a K) it is still a very capable CPU.
I think that upgrading GPU would be better, specially as many people these days are using their GPU power for the streaming process.

i have the budget, but yeah if i can save by buying ryzen7 1700 it will be better haha.. the gpu yes i will be upgrading to 1080ti soon too.. just that even if i stream i am using cpu power still instead of gpu encoding because cpu encoding are way lot better than gpu encoding.. right now i dont have much problems with the i7 4790, its a non K btw.. just that i am thinking its time to upgrade since i already have the budget.. i am in dilemma right now since one of my friends is using ryzen7 1700 + gtx 1080ti + 32gb of ram and he is still only gets 30fps while playing PUBG and streaming at the same time...

yes i am using 1080p monitor with 144hz refresh rate..
the cpu encoder are always better quality and faster than NVEC no matter how many times i tried it..

I'm not trying to disagree with you here, because i have no clue. But i have heard plenty of times from others, that their gaming performance increased after they switched to GPU encoding.
