So my current internet is with sky, i get 700kb download 80kb upload. I have started live streaming and it's just about bearable but its not nice. This village about 3 miles down the road has 15Mb Fibre however my village consists mostly of old people and is there fore not viable for the internet company to upgrade our cables. This only other options i can think of it getting a unlimited internet contract on my phone and using 4g all the time, or getting satellite internet. Any ideas would be amazing. Moving is not an option for me

Solution
stay away from satellite... its very slow speeds. and useless when gaming (rotating Nat Scheme , and ip changed every 2-5 mins)
I would look if anyone in your are is providing internet using point to point Wifi , can get up to 10/2 on those systems
4G plans will be more expensive but perform better than satellite. It does depend on how good your 4g signal is and the type of 4g. LTE performs much better than other forms of 4g. The high latency on the satellite causes poor performance for many things, it does ok for non delay dependent stuff like simple web surfing or email.

Be very careful to read the fine print on the "unlimited". Many have some form of caps, some limit the type of data like video that is unlimited and many consider tethered/hotspot use a computer not part of the unlimited.

Drive around and look to see if people have what look like satellite dishes or flat panels pointed in a more horizontal way. There may be what is called a WISP in your area. These companies put wireless equipment on water towers and other high points and then put directional wifi equipment on peoples houses.

Thank you so much both of you, considering paladin pointed out the point to point first i thought it only fair to give him the solution. I will have a drive around with a friend later today, probs not safe for me to be driving while looking and house roofs. Fingers crossed that car solve my internet issues, My phone signal is 2 bars at best but i though it still might be better than normal internet. Will have a look at point to point wifi thank you.
