I'm a pic enthusiast but one can not know all and I like others opinions. So my case nzxt s340 elite has 9 standoffs and 2 is round and has no hole for a screw what the heck. Also my io shield is hard to get in any tips also where to the pins on the io shield go on top of the ports or in?

what the case user manual say about the round screws post and if you have trouble putting back place means it is not well aling with the back slot .

Just screw in as much standoffs you can. You won't be able to screw all of them in in most cases (no pun intended). You insert the io shield inside of the case, but it doesn't have anything holding it in so you might have to press it down a bit.
