Replaced parts after catastrophic failure but PC is incredibly slow now.

Recently A PC my family member uses suffered a catastrophic failure. Upon inspection I found that two capacitors had exploded from what I assume was the motherboard as the PC would no longer boot. I have since replaced the motherboard and CPU and the system now boots again. However the PC is now EXTREMELY slow even taking many minutes to bring the login box up on the windows 10 login screen. Are there any obvious other parts that could have been damaged, that would result in this situation.

Any help is greatly appreciated thanks.

Solution
before you do a clean wipe. boot into windows safe mode and under system devices remove everything but the mouse so you can shut the pc down. then have the updated drivers for the mb and gpu see if it fixes your issue of slowness.
