since updatting to a new windows and installing an SSD i've been hearing something shut down inside the PC,there is just a sound like when you shut down a PC but for only one component,i was not able to see which part it is but if i had to gues i would assume it's the GPU . Is it normal for maybe the fans or something to turn off and cause this sound ? It usually happens when PC is not doing a lot but sometimes it even turns down while watching twitch, youtube or some other things on chrome and one thing that always manages to power it back up is MSI AB so that's why my guess is the GPU,the pc runs fine but it still bugs me

edit: i know it can't really shut itself down and have the pc run as normal but i just want to know if someone else had thi happen to them and if it's normal

Some fans will completely stop and others will just slow down when the GPU is relatively cool. Can't say for certain because we can't see any of your components.

Browsing and watching Youtube isn't intensive. MSI AB will sometimes bring a GPU's core and memory clock to their max for a moment so the fans will respond accordingly.

Completely normal.

The fans will remain off when the GPU is under a set loading or temperature for low power gaming.

Yes, something is shutting down. I bookmarked this question. Noise is usually a factor when someone is looking for a GFX card.
