What are the chances that GPU will fail even after stress test?

I just bought a Gigabyte GTX 1050 ti low profile from Amazon Warehouse. It is used (said Like New condition) so I don't know if the warranty transfer to me. I just did 3 hours of stress testing the GPU using Unigine Heaven, everything ran smoothly and temp is around 81C. What are the chances that my GPU will fail in the future?

A lot (if not all) of the "like new" amazon warehouse deals are actually new. Got a few myself (not just pc components) and they all seemed to be never used with the added advantage that they were the best deals by a long shot. The chances of it failing is the same as a new gpu failing. You can check the warranty info from what it said on amazon or the manufacturer's site.

Any piece of electronic equipment can fail at anytime regardless of how it was handled, used and maintained.

I've had a GTX 280 that I used for 2.5 years. I kept it clean. When I got a GTX 570 the 280 went to my younger brother. He used the card for a solid 3.5-4 years and never once cleaned it out. When he finally got some cash to build a new PC, I had my GTX 980Ti and I gave him my GTX 570. The GTX 280 he gave back to me was coated horribly in dust, I'm surprised the card didn't die.

As you can see, the card wasn't the best taken care of GPU, yet it still works to this day. Your GPU may work for years on end and it may fail after a few months....no one knows for sure how long it'll survive. Keep it clean, don't run it for long periods to stress test - that's just rather pointless - and keep it as cool as you can.

So I contacted Amazon CS and asked who will be the first owner of the card since I bought it used from Amazon. They said it will be Gigabyte. Does that seems reasonable? Btw does Gigabyte warranty for GPU carry over for second hand GPUs?

Gigabyte goes off the serial number of the product, not the owner/s. I'm sure they'll treat it as any other "new" sale from a retailer since what amazon said pretty much confirms it was new. But you can always confirm by contacting gigabyte and ask the time left on the warranty of your serial.
