As you've read in the title, I'm having a lot of issues with ping. Whenever I try to play video games or even access the web I'll run into problems with ping inconsistency (Speed test results render either 13 ms or over 200 ms). I've tried to dig into this problem, searching long and hard for malware, and it seems as if other people on my network are fine, even though they are all on the same, wireless network as me, usually at the same distance from the modem. Although it's been minor in the past, recently it's been getting unbearably slow and the highest download speed I've been able to reach (I'm on Verizon FiOS) is 3 Mbps download speed on speedtest.net (however, when testing on the Verizon test servers, the download speed ranges from 3 to 25). I'm exhausted from searching for solutions and since I'm not really all that knowledgeable when it comes to networking, I would fancy some help.
