pc build based on zotac 4gb 1050ti mini

Hi friends,

below are my current specs

core i3 2120 3.3 ghz
intel dh61ww mother board
8gb ddr3 ram 1333mhz
corsair vs 450 PSU
Zotac gtx 1050ti 4 gb mini graphics card

I recently added the above mentioned graphics card to my existing setup. Now i feel that my CPU is bottlenecking my GPU. So i want to upgrade a CPU which can handle my 1050ti mini with ease.

Note: I only play pes 2018. so i need a system to help me run this game @ full settings @ constant 60 fps

Even now i am able to run the game @ low settings but there is little stuttering ( i think it is because of bottleneck)

Please suggest good CPU and mother board (if my existing mobo doesnt support the new CPU). I prefer AMD series (since i heard that AMD CPUs are good for gaming needs)

amd cpu's are not better at gaming than intel

especially when you consider you can keep your current setup and simply drop in a very strong cpu:


i5 3570k

i5 3570

i5 3550

i5 3470

i5 3450



make sure the motherboard bios is up to date before swapping

ok..another question..my motherboard supports pci express 2.0 wheras my graphics card suport 3.0..because of this will there be any performance dip in my graphics card..i know it is reverse compatible..but will there be any performance dip? any method by which we can check this?

Ik this is so freaking late but what was your bios version?? Cause I have the exact same specs and I'm planning to buy a 1050ti
