Hi,

tldr: do you know a case that fits a 240mm radiator with fans (52mm high) on top side? Rest components down at the end, hopefully quite standard.

I have been presented a Coolermaster seidon 240v cpu closed water cooling, which has 240mm radiator and 2 fans on it and in total is 52mm high. Sadly it doesn't fit into my bitfenix shinobi case (not without a lot of modding). The 52mm are to much to fit it somewhere and the holes for the two 120mm fans on top for example are to far apart since 140mm fans also fit there. The case is already a bit sticky on the surface so I search for a new one that will fit the water cooler.

So I have been searching but I had some trouble filtering for cases that support fans+radiator most filters just filter for general fan types. The seidon requires that there is space of 52mm and the holes for the 120mm fans have to be next to each other (often there is a gap between the holes to also allow two 140mm fans, but i can't just make a gap in the radiator). If you know some good case please let me know :) Or some tip where I can filter for this.

My personal idea would be to have the radiator fixed to the ceiling of the case, since airflow is planned to go cool in bottom front, hot out top back. But that could be swapped around I hope. I wouldn't want the radiator to blow the hot air into the case.

The rest of my rig should be quite easy to fit I think it's standard sizes:
- ATX Mainboard
- 145 L x 40 W x 20 H mm power supply
- 278 mm L x 125 mm W graphics card
- 2 hdd and 1 ssd (with 3.5' to 2.5' frame)
- 5.25' disk drive
The case doesn't need to have anything fancy like window, LED or anything similar but can have.

Solution
Click on the part list below, then click Edit this list. Add your graphics card, then click on Choose a Case and set some filters on the right (front USB, no PSU, mid tower, etc..). PCPartPicker will show any conflicts if they are any after you "add" the case to your build (CPU cooler or GPU size issues). The Fractal Design R4 / R5 would be good options as would the Phanteks Ethloo Pro. Lots of case options out there...

Hi sadams,

thats a very nice tool. I will safe that for the future :) Sadly if I input my current Case it will not show any conflict. This is not correct otherwise I obviously wouldn't be here. So for this specific problem it is not applicable.

Thx for the suggestions, I'll look at them :)
