Hard drive not working

I just tried to install a hard drive on my pc.
It didn't had any memory accolocated, dso i tried to accolocate it.
While formatting, my pc crashed and now the drive won't load. Please help.

check to see if the hard drive is spinning. if it not you may have a bad power supply in your rig or you dead shorted the hard drive. if the drive is spinning make sure both cables are connected see if the drive shows up in the bios. if there no bios showing the hard drive and the sata cables are on right and the sata chipset is turned on then your drive may have been cooked.

"...While formatting, my pc crashed and now the drive won't load..." I just now saw this, will you be able to carefully try another hard-drive into this computer and/or try the apparent trouble hard-drive in another computer?
