Mining With the GTX 1060 6GB

Hello i know what mining is but i dont know how it is done and hot to earn some $$
Is it possible to do the mining with the GTX 1060?
If yes how from where i should do it and how to earn some $$
I am from India BTW

Yes, it is possible to mine with a 1060 6GB. How to do so typically depends on what currency you want to mine. For the most part, you set up a wallet for your chosen currency for your payment to go to, download a miner program for your chosen currency, configure it, and start mining.

Probably the most straightforward way to mine is to use Nicehash, as it automatically mines whatever coin is currently most profitable and configures the miner for you. The downside is that they take a cut of your earnings, and they alway pay you in bitcoin (bad if you're mining a currency which you expect to increase in value).

Mining with a 1060 will probably only make you like $2 a day at most (mining 24 hours/day), not factoring in electricity costs...
