Gpu does work, but not with the right board

My gpu does not work with my motherboard, it does not show anything on the screen. I have tested everything amd all works, but gpu does not work with my mother board, but works with another. Motherboard works with different gpu, but not with mine. I can use integrated grapichs to get in to bios or windows. I have tried everything i have found, but nothing works for me.

When you say "Motherboard works with different gpu, but not with mine," do you mean that the motherboard you want it to work for works with another graphics card or just the integrated gpu on the cpu?

make sure the mb you want it to work has the newest bios. make sure the bios settings are right.

Motherboard im using is acer board from pre build system so it does not have bios update. And this is my second pc so its not that important, but would like to know, if i have same kind of problem in the future

with gpu as there dropping new ones every year. they can outstrip pre built vendor support for older hardware. if the vendor like most do puts your hardware at end of life.a lot of times with older pc newer hardware may not work. or you may find nvidia gpu may not work but amd will on some older hardware. as a tech you can find weird bugs on older hardware. your best bet sometimes is to use the older gpu in older pc. at at some point buy or make a newer pc. then reuse or sell the old one.

The gpu i am talking about is older than the motherboard

This thing is just hopeless. The problem is the motherboard and i know that, it doesnt have bios update to support that card. If someone else have this problem(with somekind of acer or hp board) its best to buy new one(consumer board) from somewhere like ebay or something if your cpu soccet is something like fm1 like mine.
