prebuilt HDD to custom pc

So Im stuck on what I have to do to be able to reuse my hdd onto another mobo.. am i able to back up data reformat then put straight onto new pc and do a fresh install of windows 10?
 
Solution
1. back your data up.
2. on the old pc before your pull the hard drive boot off newest windows media created windows 10 usb stick.
3. go into advance mode and delete all of the partions.
4. exit windows 10 install and power off
5. swap the drive into the new pc.
6. boot into the bios update the bios to the newest rev by usb stick.
7. make sure the new sata port set to achi.
8 set boot order to usb stick
9. boot from windows 10 usb stick
10 on reboot into windows 10 make sure it activated.
11. install new mb drivers.

Few questions.
On number 2 do you mean to create the usb stick and boot my current pc up with it and go into advanced mode and delete all partions then place hdd into new pc and boot it up with same usb stick?
