So yesterday received my Vengance lpx 3200mhz ram. Installed it and went straight to Windows but realised it was at 2133. So went ino the bios and enabled A-Xmp restarted and my pc couldn't apply it and went back to 2133.

So went back into the bios rest to optimised defaults and tried manually putting in timings, voltage and frequency didn't work.

Could someone please help me. I have the latest Bios flashed.

RYZEN 1600

MSI B350 GAMING PRO

16GB VENGEANCE 3200

GTX 1080

Try using "Memory Try It" if you have not done so already.

It should boot/test/reboot to attempt to find a good profile.

You should also verify once a profile appears to work with MEMTEST86 www.memtest86.com

(boot to USB stick, run for a FULL PASS)

Exact model of the RAM? If it's 3200/15 or 3200/16 it's probably not going to run at the rated speed. Most 3200/14 is based on the Samsung B-die ICs and will run at the rated speed. See if you can find it on this list by model number.

So many things... You can probably get it running with enough tinkering. I'd start at NB/SOC voltage, up that to 1.1 or so. Raise the voltage of the RAM. Loosen timings. Set the ProcODT somewhere in the 40 - 60 range. Thems the biggies, with those settings you should be able to get in the ballpark depending on the RAM. What is the exact kit of RAM that you have?
