Hi!
I have been having problems with my pc for about a year now. I have replaced many parts, added many parts! Reinstalled software, fresh install of windows etc.
After reinstalling windows for the 20th time and installing brand new ram, i found out that neither of these cause the problem. Its when i plug in more then 1 monitor the computer lags 5 seconds after login. When only 1 monitor is plugged in everything is fine and smooth but as soon as there is more than 1 it will lag 5 seconds after login for around 10seconds.
Note that 1 GPU is older than the other. 1 is around 2,5+- years old the other 1,5+- years old.
Is one of my graphics card broken?
I use 3x the same monitor connected with displayport cables (all same brand and kind). This setup has worked perfectly for roughly 3,5 years.
Specs:
5930k i7
2x 980strix (in SLI)
32gb 3000mhz corsair vengeance LPX DDR4
X99-A mobo
1200W psu (i believe)
Windows runs on a brand new SSD 240gb

**EDIT** I didn't mean to put this message under CPU's! I thought it said GPU's........ I really have to get some glasses!
