Hello folks!
I've been having very poor performance from my access point lately (Slow and unstable). I started troubleshooting every part of my setup (Router - Poe switch - Ethernet outlet through wall - access point). long story short, connected directly to my computer at the end of the ethernet outlet i get around 170 mbit down and 40 up. When i put the POE switch in between i get around 2-4 down and 0-2 up (Sometimes it drops out completely). Has my switch gone bad or could there be another reason? I have tested all cables used. The network has always been a bit slow through the switch, but it's been getting worse and worse. The switch is this one

Thank you and best regards

Solution
yep, bad switch

A working switch does not affect transfer speeds in the slightest.

To be clear though:
1. PC-> ethernet cable-> router (works)

2. PC-> ethernet cable-> SWITCH-> ethernet cable-> router (does NOT work)

That leaves only the switch or a bad ethernet cable, and if in doubt go back to Step #1 and use the 2nd ethernet cable by itself.
