Some RAM slots work only once

I recently flashed a new bios version and with that a problem came up. All the RAM slots on my mobo work but if i put the stick on slots 2 and 4 ( the recommended slots for my mobo) the pc will boot normally, but on the other day if i try to turn on the pc it keeps rebooting and the debug lights of the CPU and RAM turn on and of together and it will only work agains if i change the sticks from it's slots and boot the pc only to change back to the recommended slots. My mobo is a MSI b350M mortar

No, it was a new mobo and someone recommended me to update the bios, so the bios was clean, no alterations

Did this yesterday and the problem seems to be solved, I was able to boot the pc normally. I guess it was a bug on the update I flashed. Thanks for your help.
