PC Gaming Build, want opinions.

So, I have two builds atm, was looking for opinions on which seems better and if anyone has any possible upgrade ideas, price range is around $1000 with flexibility.

Go with the first build. I just recommend buying Windows 10 (for $50 cheaper) elsewhere and ditching that DVD writer for some USB sticks

I suppose my thoughts were "What if I need to download something by disk for school / other." Buuuuuut on the otherhand I could just use my laptop and transfer it if needed to this pc. Thanks for your input!

You can keep it, as it's very cheap and has no impact on overall price. But it is faster and easier to just use USB sticks
