Hello guys, I am going to buy a new PC (http://) with this monitor (http://), but this is for the first time I am buying PC on my own, previously i was buying only full sets. So i would be grateful to hear your answers for my following questions.

1) I found out that i need atleast 600W for my 1080ti, so should i buy 650W or let the 750W in the build ?

2) What accessories i also need to buy ? ( by that i mean cables, fans for case and so on, if there is anything important)

3) DO i need to buy a thermal paste for cpu cooler ?

4) Also isnt noctua a little bit overkill for i7 ? I am asking if i get similiar temperature with cheaper one (like this for example http://)

5) Did i understand correctly that i need to connect graphic card via displayport to get 144Hz

6) What is a optimal placement for case to keep good airflow ?

7) Please let me know if there is something wrong with this build or if you can provide additional info to what i have to buy to succesfully turn on PC correctly.

Thanks a lot for every advice in advance :)

1) Even 550 W can do.
2) As long as you have keyboard/mouse/monitor/flash drive, you should be fine, many components come with necessary cables.
3) For 7700k, yes
4) Nope, 7700k runs really hot, water cooler is also recommended.
5) DVI-D or Displayport are fine.
6) The case is good, but have cheaper replacement. You can add more case fans to help.
7) Coffee lake I7! Get Samsung SSD instead of ADATA.

The monitor is not very good... What is your total budget including monitor/keyboard/mouse/speaker/wireless card ?

Looks like a good solid setup to me.

But now that Coffee Lake is out if want to go with the newest CPU.

About monitor- I was thinking about that Asus - PG279Q also but a lot of people was complaining about backlight bleeding so i decided to buy the acer.

About cpu- Does intel 8700k has also issues with overheating ? If not i am going for it

About budget- well i would like to keep the budget around 1900Dollars ( In Czech Republic its about 1.3x more expensive)

So Samsung is better in SSD then ADATA:

The i7 7700K doesn't have overheating issues either.

Not really..

It was jus some who bought cheap coolers and tried to OC it to the moon, most don't have issues. That and some motherboards over volted it so that added to the heat.

But no I haven't heard the I7 8700K having any issues, the cooler you choose is fine for either the 7700K or 8700K.

Some tweaks

People told me that if i want liquid cooler on cpu i have to dellid is that correct ? Also can you tell me advantages of that asrock z370 beside the others ? And yours case is better than R5 ?

You don't need liquid cooler in the 1st place and not you don't have to delid either.

liquid or air is a choice, delid is personal preference. Either the Noctua or the liquid will do well, with liquid a little bit better cooling. Heard several complaints on the forum about gaming plus. Your carbon is a good mb as well. This asrock one is solid for its price :) You can pick and choose, sometime it is just about cheaper replacement to fit the budget. Case is similar as well.
