One of my PCs has the following setup:

FUJITSU ESPRIMO E700 E85+
i5-2500
8GB RAM
SSD 240GB + 500GB HDD
250W PSU (max 280W for 20SEC)
MSI GTX 1050 Ti 4GB LP (I bought it today!! )

It seems there are no issues relevant to PSU and GTX 1050 Ti, but, since this computer will be used for gaming, I have in mind to replace the stock CPU cooler of Fujitsu.

- Here you can see the system temperatures after running of Benchmark Test of Rise of the Tomb Raider.

- Maybe the 76oC for the i5-2500 is too high? I used an Arctic MX-4 as thermal compound. In idle mode the temps are 50 to 55oC.

- The stock cooler is this: http://www.itinstock.com/fujitsu-v26898-b969-v1-esprimo-processor-heatsink---e500-e700-e900-p700-p900-29952-p.asp

- The mainboard (so we can decide a cooler the fits on it with no issues also by contact with RAM modules) is this: http://zex.ddns.net/files/DS_D3061-A.pdf
(D3061-A)

- Have in mind that we're talking about a SFF PC, so there are no holes at the top side of the case - and for this reason the stock cooler has a sticker with an arrow said "airflow" direction. I'm not sure if a cooler that send the air vertically could be a good idea.

What do you think?
Let me know if someone has a real experience with a SFF PC + after market cpu cooler (what cooler you bought/ for what SFF/ what's the results etc ) :)

Solution

Exactly. Stay below 85C for peak core temps for the 2nd gen core processors. See here for more information.
