I have an H100i GTX cooler and it constantly runs at 100% and the RPM on the radiator and the fans is not visible in Link. I'm running an i7 4790k in Windows 10 pro and I'm trying to figure out if this is something wrong with my cooler to where I need to send it back to Corsair or if there's some way I can fix this, as my temperatures are fine, but I don't want a jet engine sitting on my desk all the time.

I have the fans connected to the radiator block and it is connected to the motherboard through the 3 pin CPU power connector. I'm using an Asrock Z97 OC Formula.

Over the last few months I have ditched all the Corsair Software I can. The only bit I use now is the Corsair Integrated USB Bridge. Even that has problems, but you need it to communicate with the H100i. If you don't need flashing disco lights then SIV64 is far better solution than the Corsair offering.

It is harder to set up, but once done, its a way more stable and you can set fan speeds as you please. The guy who monitors the Corsair support site developed it and has produced manuals and examples for use on the Corsair site.

The Corsair software was broken for weeks and left me with free running fans, and no way to control them. Corsair don't seem to understand that the cooling system is way more important than disco lights. So I made the change a few months ago. I don't think I will be forgiving them for it either. In future, I will buy from companies that specialize in cooling and take it seriously!

Currently I have the fans set to "Silent Mode" and I've tried the other modes with no level of success, I will add as well that the board doesn't see any level of speed to the fans so I think it is seeing the radiator pump and not the fans at all which to me would seem to be the problem with controlling their speed, although that doesn't explain why the cooler is not visible in Link.

I'm aware that on certain boards it is possible to completely disable the cooling for a CPU on the motherboard end, which is what I was going to do, but I haven't been able to find that option here, the only options available for CPU fan are Customize, Silent Mode, Standard Mode, Performance Mode, and Full Speed.
