I recently moved to a new house with my parents and we got a new wireless provider. My ping at our old house averaged 60-100 while I was alone, we had 3mb down and 1mb up. At our new house we have 25mb down and I believe around 10 up. I have pinged google and get an average of 607 ping and it's roughly the same in CS:GO (around 600-700.) In addition our new house is a bit further out also it's satellite internet. Any ideas? I'm fairly sure it's not the servers I'm connecting too and I don't know what it could be otherwise. (yes I'm using Ethernet cable)

Solution
'also it's satellite internet'

You basically have a speed of light restriction. The satellites is about 22000 miles away. It takes time to go all the way up and all the way back down and you must do that 2 times because ping measure round trip distance.
