Hello,
I have a electrical/buzzing noise coming from my case when gaming. I tryed to check where the noise is coming from and i cant tell 100% if it's the GPU or PSU cause they are so close to each other, I asked a friend to check it for me and he said that it's coming from the bottom (where the PSU is). I did a stress test for the cpu and and didnt hear the noise but when i loaded the GPU i could hear the noise. I dont know if that's what people call "coil whining" or not. I tryed to record the area near the GPU and PSU with my phone but cant hear the noise. I called someone from the family to check it with me and he said that the TV is making the same noise and I m confused now . I got my pc 3 months ago and didnt have any problems at the first place but now i have that weird noise. I dont have any overheat or lag issues.
So my question is is that harmful and what to do so?
I m not getting annoyed by the noise cause i always wear headset

My config :
psu : CORSAIR RM650X gold
gpu : GTX 1070 GAMING X
cpu : i7-7700
cpu cooler : COOLER MASTER HYPER 212 LED
mbo : msi gaming m3 h170
ram : 8gb ram ddr4

Thank you in advance

Thank you for your answers

Yes it stops when I m in the game menu and comes back when playing but it's constant no matter where I'm looking to
But it depends from game to game
For example when playing CSGO i can hear the noise but it's louder when playing a demanding game (GPU usage in cs go 15%~25%)

Does it happen in the GPU itself or the PSU cause i cant tell where noise is coming from.

Sounds like coil whine, then. it can come from any component, but generally it happens most with GPUs and based on your test, it seems to be the case. You can look up some examples of it on YouTube for reference. Linus made a video about it either through hit Tech Tips channel or Tech Quickie. Here's one example: https://youtu.be/T7HsXHqtxrI

It's not harmful and the problem can be caused by both the PSU and the GPU. If it doesn't bother you, don't worry about it.
