So i got my 7700k to a stable 4.8 at 1.35 volts but anything higher and its unstable. Im just a little nervous to push my core voltage anything higher than 1.4 for everyday use unless you guys think it would be safe. I have a very high end custom loop from EKWB that cools my motherboard and cpu so would that give me the opportunity to push to 1.4 volts? or maybe even higher?

MOBO: Asus maximus viii formula watercooled
CPU: i7-7700k
GPU: gtx 1080x2 sli
RAM: Gskill 32gb
COOLING: EKWB custom loop

Solution
With my custom loop, and delidding, managed to get my 'average' 7700k to 5.0Ghz but it often runs 1.416 volts with LLC. Highest recorded temperature is 78C (Previously 91C, thus the delidding) (Uncore still at 4.5Ghz if I recall, only got it to run a stable benchmark with an uncore of 5Ghz once)

The chips that can achieve 5.0Ghz with less than 1.4 volts are seemingly not as common.

I haven't really tried for 5.1Ghz, but I imagine it would work. But everything seems to play nice the way it so I have left it alone.
