We are experiencing some odd errors with windows 7. We can not select more than one file using select with the right mouse, then hold down the shift key and select another file in a sequence and have all the files highlighted. We can select one file at a time while holding down the control key but when you have a lot of files to select that is a pain. We are also experiencing errors when using photoshop, cloning tool will not recognize when we have selected an area to clone. (normally you hover the mouse over the area you want to clone, then press the alt key, it then will use that area to clone) it will give an error message saying you need to select an area to clone as if I never did press the alt key. An interesting thing is that I can access this computer from a remote computer using chrome remote desktop and everything works fine. Any ideas.

It seems, to me at least, that the keyboard and mouse are malfunctioning or that they lack the necessary drivers. Can you please list the make and model of your keyboard+mouse? It'd also help if you could include the full specs to your system.

Thanks for the quick reply. In playing with it a little today, I uninstalled the driver for the keyboard and then rebooted the computer and it worked fine, then it began to act up again. Tried it again, the same thing. I will do it again and see if opening a program (I opened Chrome and Photoshop) to see if they have anything to do with it.

It is an Amazon basics keyboard and a Kensington MO1093, Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, AMD FX 6300 six-core processor, 3.5 GHz, 8GB ram
