What's the next obvious upgrade?

Hi All.

Here's my current rig. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/p3VpXH

Not a bad rig at all, but looking to spend a bit of cash due to the bonus I just received from work! What would in your opinion be the most obvious to upgrade to get the most out of this machine? I mostly game. A little movie editing but not a lot.

As far as the Hard Disks go, the SSDs are for the OS, games and software. The HDDs are media storage for home network.

I appreciate the suggestions! Dan

I actually don't know what to suggest here since you've touched up on all aspects that people usually skimp on. Perhaps an RGB cooler, like the Cryorig H7 Quad Lumi? :D

We also don't know how much you're willing to shell on your proposed upgrade. If I were in your place, perhaps ditch the Corsair and Kingston SSD's and pick up a pair of SK Hynix SL308 SSD's or larger platter drives in place of single 1TB drives.

You don't NEED an upgrade. However, if you want it, the only move that makes sense to me would be to swap CPU and motherboard to 8th gen, to i7-8700K and a Z370 mobo. Not that it would make any difference in FPS, since at that resolution it's the GPU that sets the limit. But in any non-gaming use you would see the difference.

Not interested in the flashing light stuff. Since the case is relatively hidden anyway, except the front and top. Waste of money for me.

I don't need to liquid cool. The case is as quiet as a mouse and super cool. The 1080 ti produces no heat. Previously in this build I had SLI GTX 980 ti's. Now THAT was hot! Same in regard to replacing this CPU cooler to the Noctua. I appreciate the suggestion, but I don't need to cool. I have little heat.

I did think about the new mobo chipset and the 8th gen CPU, but I haven't looked at the % of performance increase. Any benchmarks that can show? I'm thinking this might be more % in money than measurable performance!

Any other ideas? Thanks for the compliment on the X34 Wildcard. I just upgraded that from a Predator 27" XB271hu. It's fun, but there's a slight light bleed on these panels that is a bit annoying. The 27" had much less.

I don't really have a budget, but I don't want to burn cash either!
