I am in some great frustration today hooo boy

Currently running a windows 10 pc and attempting to use my old laptop hdd with it.
I will sum it up quickly because the first time I wrote a whole post I hit a wrong button and reset the browser.

Toshiba 500gb HDD
I want to access it
Connecting it to the motherboard with SATA cables does not work. Access denied. Requests password.

Connecting it via SATA to USB does not work. I am able to see it in device manager, and in disk management. But I cannot initialize, access is denied

No default HDD reset passwords work. Nada
Insulting it repeatedly somehow doesn't work either.

Please send help. I just want to use this hdd so my computer has more storage and I can run it faster.

Solution
You need the password. PERIOD.
(I can tell you from past experience that cursing the unaccommodating drive won't work unless you use the correct combination of very bad words. And I really don't think you can manage that.)
