vs550 + gtx 680

Hi there, so I have recently bought a VS550 and a GTX 680, the works perfectly fine without the graphics card, using my i3 8100s iGPU yet when I install the graphics card, the pc shuts down during boot, only to start its self back up again. I was playing destiny 2 on it for a good few hours before this started happening.
Note, my PC build is not in a case if thats any help.

The GTX680 in a system would need at least 550W from the PSU while the PSU you currently own is nothing more than an expensive paper weight.

If the system shut off/rebooted during a load/gaming session then your PSU is at fault. You should try and source a unit that is higher in terms of reliability and of higher wattage to rule out the GPU being faulty. Might I ask what the rest of your specs look like?
