Thinking to buy a new mouse, have 2 candidates. Both have pros, both have cons. But also, open to discussion, if you can recommend me any other mouse to buy.

So, let's start.

Corsair Glaive RGB:

Pros: Smooth, simple design, interchangeable thumb grips. Quite expensive, which should mean it's a great mouse.
Cons: On Amazon, read a lot that after a month of use, there is double/triple clicking on one click. Also, the Corsair logo defaults to yellow. Contacted support, after updating the ticket 2 times, they couldn't give me the good answer. They say they fixed it, but... still can't give me the good answer.

Logitech G502:

Pros: Many buttons (the reason I bought my current Tt Level 10 M; some buttons don't work, why add them to the mouse in the first place then?), extra weights (a solid pro). Seems to be a good fit for a claw holding style.
Cons: the extra weights cover may fall soon after I buy it. Watched a review video. While gaming, I sometimes would lift the mouse, and smash it on the mat. Tt has aluminium base, no problem here. So this is a solid con. Also, thumb grips may be not as comfortable, as I lift the mouse a lot during gameplay.

Solution
I'd recommend the Logitech G502. I've had a good amount of Logitech mice in the past, and no other manufacturer can match them (IMO).

I realize this is an old thread, but my old G600 was wearing out so I stopped by my local BestBuy. They had both the G502 and Glaive on display. I ended up buying the G502, but I have a big problem with it. The "scroll" button is way too sensitive. I keep accidentally over-scrolling slightly and it's really annoying me. I do not see any option in the Logitech software to adjust scroll sensitivity. I can go into 'Mouse Properties - Wheel' and change the setting from 3 to 2, but that just makes it scroll a little slower(but still has the same issue).

Is there any way to fix this? Should I just go back and exchange it for the Glaive?

I have the same mouse and I RMAd the first one I got because of an issue with a button. But the wheel did the same thing. My replacement does not do this however so you may have a defective product. If its under warranty, Maybe try exchanging it.

-I'd also like to note in regards to the threads question;
I hate logitech's software as on several computers it has a bad memory leak (using up to 7-9GB of ram after several days!!) So the ability to store profiles on the 502 is great feature, (the Corsair Glaive does this too) Mouse tuning for my mousepad surface worked well to optimize my sensor (currently using a steel series cloth pad)

I recently started looking for Logitech alternatives because of my experience with a G910 (i wanna smash this thing) but the Logitech G502 is probably the best mouse I have ever used. Hands down.

Sorry for not answering for so long, didn't see your message.

Did you click the middle mouse button? What happens if you click on it? Does it work that way?

BTW, Corsair Glaive is a good mouse, but keep in mind, it's HUGE! (Compared to most other model... And for my hand...)

I’m sure you know but are you sure that the scroll wheel is in the “locked” position? Like the little button that keeps it from free wheeling?
