I am needing to get a new motherboard to replace my previous one. I am having difficulty finding a new one since I know they got to be compatible with the rest of your setup and a lot are out of stock. I would like to know which ones would be the best. Thank you.

Specs:
Gtx 970
i7-4790k
Corsair Carbide Air 540
4x Corsair Vengeance Pro 8gb (I do not mind downgrading to just 16gb)
Current Motherboard is Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 7

This is about the best deal I see currently, on a very good quality, new, Z97 board.

Being as LGA 1150 is a few generations old now, selection and availability are going to be limited. There are certainly better or lower quality boards out there, much will be based on what you want to spend, if you really even need to replace it. I'd want to verify that the board is actually the problem before replacing it though.
Why are you replacing your current motherboard? Have you verified something is wrong with it, or are you simply replacing it because you have a problem that you cannot seem to diagnose?

What is your budget for a new motherboard in the even it DOES need to be replaced?
