I left the case off the list as there is a lot of user preference in choosing a case. Are you using a 4k monitor? If so I would go with the 1080ti, if not, I would just stick with the 1080 and save some money.
I went with the 8 core CPU as it will assist with workstation task. I really like Coffee Lake, but until the pricing gets under control, I would wait. This is under your budget and is a good machine. If you want a bigger GPU, then drop to the 1600 and move up to a 1080ti.
