Hey everyone. Finally got all my pc parts after a couple weeks of research and a lot of help from this site. Im jumping into the build now and am wondering when should I install the case fans, at the start or the end? Ive got a thermaltake view 71 casr and have 10 x riing 12 rgb fans.

Solution
I actually ended up getting the blue version of the case because i didnt want to use 140mm fans. The fans that come standard with the view 71 are the older riing fans that cant be run by software and has a different sticker in the middle compared to the premium pluses so I didnt want to use them. Im having 3 front and 2 bottom intake and 3 top 1 back exhaust. Thats 9. But worked out cheaper getting 10 in a double 5 pack. Im pretty much set for when I get the watercooling system setup to, so I dont think I over did it with the fans. But thanks for your opinion anyways.

That would depend on if the fans would block off access to other parts of the case like the motherboard's (4/8/2x8pin)EPS connections. If not then you can install the fans first after tearing the case panels first.

Might I ask what your build constitutes of? Watercooling within the build would need a specific order, mind you.

Thanks for the reply. That diagram actually came in handy. I stripped the case bare to familiarise myself with it before I get to building. I'm not doing a water cooling setup. I will in the future but just got the fans for now. How can I find out if the fans would block of any of the connections? Is it more of a you can tell with experience or is there a way I can find out for certain?
Here are the parts I have gathered https://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/lilayZee/saved/PNgtJx

You bought a case that will take 5 x 140mm fans & already comes with 3 rgb ones prefitted.

You then bought another 10 x 120mm fans too ??

Where are you planning on fitting them all exactly ?

Even if you were adding a radiator with push/pull the most you could physically use is 4.
