How come my laptop runs CS:GO better than The Sims 4?

I looked up system requirements for both games and TS4 seems to require lower specs. Is it because I have all the expansions? CS:GO runs smoothly for me but with TS4, I always get some issues. It just starts being slow and laggy, even when on low settings. Sorry if this is a stupid question but does anyone know why this happens?

Solution
TS4 may have more RAM requirements than CS:go, especially with all the expansions, more things to simulate the more RAM needed.
CS:go is more static, fixed maps and items. the sims will grow as you play, so to speak.

I'd wager it's because CSGO is far more CPU intensive than GPU with Sims probably taking much more GPU than CPU. Hard to say because I don't know what laptop you have but it's probably got the CPU department covered better than GPU.

The Sims requires more RAM to run the game and load all resources.
CS:GO is, as mentioned above, static and does not need to load more landscapes/sprites/other resources as you play.

This is what i would formulate to be the solution, though not confirmed.
