yeah i only see the splash screen. freezed there. also my pc is making a beeping sound every 15 sek or so
if i put the old Radeon HD 7800 in again it workes just fine

lights and fans on the gtx 1050 is working if that matters :)

OK. turn PC off, unplug the PSU from outlet, take out and re-seat the graphic card and boot/test again.

What does the debugger show? What Q code?

Also the motherboard has a clear CMOS button below the last PCIE slot next to Rest and Power button. If that doesn't work reset BIOS or clear CMOS after re-seating the card.

No problem, glad to help. The debugger seven segments show no code? Is the primary motherboard BIOS LED on? The is the green one on? Is the dual BIOS switch on Primary? (Next to power button on board).

Yes after you re-seat the GPU boot and see what happens. If not working press the (red?) clear CMOS button, it should reboot clear and enter BIOS if it works.

If that doesn't work try the GPU in the 3rd PCIE slot (presuming it is now in the first/top slot).

other then that its 3 more light in what will be the opper right corner. from top to bottom 2 green lights rlt close to one another then one orage under them and one more that is blue and have a tiny white light on it side.

to answer about the PCIE slots. i have tryed the card on all of them :)
and computer workes 100% fine whit everyting whit the old Radeon HD 7800 GPU.

will try to use the CMOS button and rs my system. comming back to you whit what happens :)

Yes press it when it's off and see if reboots and goes into BIOS. IF not do it after it boots.

If nothing changes you might want to try it (clear CMOS) with the old GPU as you said PC POSTs and boots OK with that one. Good sign that motherboard and PCIE slots are OK.

Also obvious point but have you connected the 6-pin PCIE power cable from PSU to the GTX card?

OK good news secondary BIOS is OK. Before anything try to recover Primary BIOS to fix the checksum error. That BIOS has apparently gone corrupt.

Here's a manual of your motherboard I couldn't find it on Sapphire website:

http://www.nodevice.com/user_manual/sapphire/Motherboard/pure-black-x79n-pb-ci7x79n.html

Since your PC is is acting up here's a shot of the said page in the manual:

Yes it should be on P by default.

At this point maybe you should try that graphics card in another system and see if it works.

I'm not sure a BIOS update would help or not. Have you ever updated the BIOS since you first built the PC.

At least the PC works with the old GPU I'm afraid if you try to update BIOS it might get corrupted or you might end up bricking the board although it has dual BIOS and it's unlikely (The level being on S and not booting with the 'checksum error' probably means the secondary BIOS is corrupt).

Just put the new GPU in the first/top slot and boot with the BIOS on P and see if it boots. Don't do anything to BIOS now.

I'm sorry Frank but I'm kind of at wits end and have to go now.

Perhaps It's better if you just test the new card in another system and see if it's OK. Maybe a good idea if you don't mess with the motherboard too much now.

I hope someone else can elaborate and shed more light onto the problem.
