Okay so last night I did a case switch with my computer. I have built dozens of computers and never had any major issues and last night went smooth too. I didn't suspect anything was wrong, but when I plugged it in and tried turning it on nothing happened, and I mean this literally. I checked the front end connections just to be sure I didn't mess the power switch cable or something up, made sure everything was connected to the PSU correctly and then tried again and nothing. I then tried a different PSU and again nothing, is my motherboard or my CPU not working then?

Solution
Should still power on even if the cpu or any other component is bad except the mobo. You could try a force start by starting the PSU directly rather than having the mobo trigger it. Could be a bad case switch too. try swapping the power and reset buttons and see if the reset button will turn it on.

Worst case the mobo is DOA.
