Hello guys.
so im buying gta 5 soon, and i wanna know if my pc can run the game or not because my pc isnt that good and isnt that bad, so lets get to the point here are my specs:

CPU: Intel(R) Xeon CPU E5462 @ 2.80 GHz 2.80 GHz (2 Processors)
RAM: DDR2 8.00 GB 800 MHz
GPU: NVidia GeForce GTX 1050
OS: Windows 10 64 Bit

And please dont tell me to use the Can you run it website because its not so accurate and not always right.

Thank You :)

2 cpu is below the minimum suggested requirement but it "will run". As far as your CPU: even the newest i3 7th gen is not as fast as any older i5 for multiple threads. I'm very unsure what's gonna happen: thread dependance may depend on the settings you choose* (ie, PCSS, MSAA/TXAA may offload a thread need, "shadows OFF", etc).

Assuming the 1060 is better than 1050: you'll be pleased with that part I'm sure. 4G memory is better than 2G for gta v if you have $100 extra lying around.

I have a 1050 (2G mem) running on an i5 works apparently better than ps4/xb1s since framerate never drops below 60 once I adjusted settings* and depending on monitor i'm attached** to...

For settings let me say MSAA/TXAA shadow may impact framerate badly (depends on nv card), so use FXAA (but do use NVIDIA PCSS). Shadows can be "high" but anything above will be a big penalty wherever there are many shadows (which is very many, say 1/10 of the whole game space).

Your MONITOR hardware will have a great impact: I can pull 85 Hz fps continuous (no frame drop) at 1024x768 and it's scary smooth: but lower in details. I greatly prefer 1280x1024 @60Hz (on vga CRT or LED panel). Size matters: i tried a 3500x1440 LED and visual detail is nicely higher but visual settings had to be set lower and framerate was only 45+ average gameplay (still playable) (i rate this as an option but not definitively better). Back to "normal": because CRT has excellent contrast ratio and is analog: I really prefer it given a choice to LED. Now to the point! If your having speed issues and have a HD LED monitor and using an hdmi cable (much lower quality than display port cable or vga cable) and have a "dumb HD": you may not be able to change display size or refresh rate and be forced into Settings cut-backs (nothing on "very high")

I'm guessing may get a locked 60 fps on a typical LED HD TV somehow, but unsure what settings would do it.
