Battlefield FPS drops

hey guys so i have a 1440p 144hz gsync panel and everytime i get on any battlefield games, the counter would show it is at 144hz but the actual in game fps is not rendering 144fps. the only way i can fix this and its not a permanent solution is by changing a graphics preset then everything's fine but if i alt tab or exit the game it'll go back to the problem anyone got a solution to this? im using a gtx 1070 and a i5-6600k. its so damn annoying. thanks!

A 4 core i5 isn't going to hold 144fps in bf1.

In multiplayer the fps will be even lower as the cpu has more work to do.

whoops i used144fps thing as an example for the monitor. i meant that the fps counter would show something like 120fps but the game looks like its playing at 45fps. i dont really know how to put things in words lmao
